What is the role of a Canadian Cancer Society volunteer?

Support outstanding cancer research through fundraising.

I joined Relay For Life committee in my community and helped make the event spectacular! Not only that, I made great connections to businesses in my community and met new friends. I work full time and was relieved to find that I could schedule my volunteer time around my work hours.

I can't wait until we start planning next year's event!

Lead cancer prevention initiatives through health promotion, community action and advocacy.

My friends and I joined a Canadian Cancer Society letter writing campaign and now my community has banned the cosmetic use of pesticides.  My family is so proud that I had a part in making my community a healthier place to live and play.

Caring practical and personal support for people with cancer.

I can't thank you enough for this program... It's made an unbelievable difference.

Join us!

As a Canadian Cancer Society volunteer, you will help make cancer history!
